(NEWS10) - Nearly a week with no rain and with winds expected to gust up to 35 mph, fire dangers throughout the Capital Region are still a concern. NEWS10 has more on the dangerous conditions. String of fires in Colonie under investigation There are three ingredients to make a fire. You need fuel, heat and oxygen. St. Charles County mother charged in toddler's death ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. - A St. Charles County mother is facing felony charges in the death of her 2-year-old child earlier this week. The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Deja Slaughter, 30, with one count of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of abuse or neglect of a child in connection with the toddler's death.
